Become a part of our team

The material development team is a global team that works closely with other functions where material expertise is needed. We are now looking for a technician to join this group in Fagersta.

Your mission

This position involves responsibility for working with various equipment and machines in a project-based manner to productively and efficiently develop different solutions and answers within our assignments. These assignments are anchored in our goals and strategies.

Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing and investigation in prioritized assignments.
  • Ensure that necessary equipment is in good condition.
  • Be responsible for work instructions.
  • Stay updated on new findings in testing and analysis.
  • Participate in new investments and be responsible for commissioning new equipment.
  • Have knowledge of various measurement methods.
  • Conduct testing of mechanical properties in various materials.
  • Analyze different materials.

Location and travel

This is a daytime position located in Fagersta, Västmanland. Travel may occur as needed.
